Harmony One Button Replacement Service
If the buttons on your Harmony One have become difficult to use, or have stopped working altogether, then a tactile button dome replacement is probably what you need. Any button that does not respond with light pressure or is 'lazy' should be considered a candidate for replacement. But, before you consider placing an order, review this document, which will help you verify a button hardware problem and assist in determining how many buttons should be replaced. About Button Repairs – When you order a button repair, the underlying tactile dome is replaced. This does not take care of any cosmetic issues that may be on the button cap, which is the part of the button you see. If your button caps are in poor cosmetic condition (peeling paint, etc), then you can add the Button Pads to your order.
Although we really don't like to encourage do-it-yourself button repairs, due to some of the risks associated with opening these units and 'surgically' replacing button domes, we do have a do-it-yourself option if you are interested.
