I’ve used them twice over the past 4 years to repair/restore my Harmony One controller and each time they have quickly resolved my issues and sent it back in like new condition. Quinn is one of a kind. He has a real interest in providing excellent customer service and support. His interactions with customers, detailed pre/post problem reviews, parts repair/replacement recommendations and resolutions are all superb. All is provided at a very reasonable cost. From the moment I contacted Quin and the quick response back on the processes involved I was desperate to have my Harmony Elite remote repaired. I had been told that my remote is gone, there’s no solution and essentially told to use it for spare parts and even to use it as a door stop from all the repair shops in my area. I sent the remote to Quin with the very simple to follow instructions he provided and the mighty Quin repaired and sent it back as quick as it arrived in his shop. I checked the tracking to see if Quin had received my packaged remote and the message I received back was it was being sent back as “repaired” . Absolutely unbelievable customer service that I have never , ever experienced before. You are simply the best at what you do and other businesses whether big or small should follow your lead. This is what good customer service is all about. Quin answered my email immediately. (when does that ever happen) Quin fixed my Harmony One remote and returned it as good as new in just less than a week with a full explanation of what he did. And he sent me a partial refund as he didn't do as much as the repair fee covered. A 5 Star review is hardly enough! Thank you Quin for your excellent service. Your work ethic is exemplary.
Incidentally, I must also mention how much I love my Harmony One remote.I love the "help" feature and having one remote that replaces three. How great is that.

That left me disappointed to say the least so I started doing my homework to see if there was a repair option. You guessed it, found Quin on a Sunday afternoon. I don’t leave comments or reviews. Most places that ask for one are either just a store front wanting to know if they shipped me what I ordered or asking me if I enjoy what I ordered. Not worth my time. If you’re selling something and I purchase it, keep your say/do ratio in check and ship it. My time is put in up front, reviewing what I am purchasing and making sure it is what I need or want. Quin’s customer base had nothing but positive things to say about many steps in the process of getting work performed on their personal items. So here is my experience with Quin. Sunday afternoon I send an email to him asking for help with my problem. Didn’t expect a response for at least 48 hours (today’s world), not the case. Quin responded within an hour. We exchanged a few more detailed emails and I made a choice to use Harmony Remote Repair to fix my problem. What happened next was beyond expectation. Email stating my remote was received with no damage during the shipping process. Another email stating the testing performed did not fix the problem I thought was the issue and a suggestion on how to repair the unit. More emails stating the suggestion fixed the issue and that the remote was back in the box ready for the post office to do their job and ship it to me. All this took place in less than a week. I also received a detailed receipt of the work performed. Pre-repair notes, repair notes, and testing notes. Notes about our email conversations. Level of documentation and communication is very professional. I have tested my remote and have been using it like nothing ever happened. Very pleased and thankful for Quin’s work. Dennis Austin a year ago - I'm sure I heard of Quin's service on AVS Forum. A few years ago, my Harmony One did not light when picked up. I sent it to him and he explained what the problem and the fix was in detail. He is very thorough and it didn't cost much either. I was glad to know that he was still in business (pandemic) as I now need my remote's volume button fixed. This type of work and service is almost gone in today's world.

Service from Harmony Remote Repairs (Quin) goes far beyond anyone's expectations, and would be a deal at even twice the price. I just had a Harmony One restored, basically, not only replacing the faulty logic board (luckily, a spare was available) but basically made the remote as nearly new as possible. To say nothing about the ready access, with quick replies to my questions, over the weekend, even.
I just bought another used Harmony One, having done so before finding Quin, so now I have two. There's nothing bad I can say about my encounter here, and considering that I'm rather hard to please, I'd look at any negative review (are there any?) with suspicion.

My Harmony One had been blacklisted many years ago and when I heard Logitech had pulled the plug on their Universal Remote department, I was saddened. Thanks to Quin's fast response and excellent work (maybe 2 weeks between me shipping the unit, him re-flashing it in record time and gave a thorough check to the unit and remove some minor corrosion he spotted on the battery terminals, and sending it back), I now have a pretty much pristine H1 ready for many more years of service.

My Harmony 900 was quite literally melted, and Quin solved my issue.
If you have a Logitech remote that is acting up, and it is not obviously due to multiple sledgehammer hits or blasts from a flamethrower, you could do no better than sending it to Quin to see what he might find.

Dave B 2 years ago - Quin is an absolute pleasure to work with. He's extremely responsive, polite, flexible, honest and knowledgeable. Oh, and he also fixed my remote! I was having a strange issue with my Elite where it would sporadically freeze and reboot itself. Quin was honest about not being completely certain that a logic board replacement would resolve this unusual issue, but he thought it was the best thing to attempt first. He assured me that if it didn't fix the problem, he would refund the cost. Since his logic board repair service costs 1/4 of purchasing a new Elite, I shipped him my remote. He performed the work immediately and shipped it back to me the same day he received it. Now my remote is working perfectly again. You really can't go wrong letting Quin work on your Harmony remote.

Getting all the remotes back in the drawer and just having the Harmony do everything (and in the right order) was sublime.
The cost effectiveness of getting the unit restored by Quin cant be denied. The sheer quality of the process from preparation for shipment instructions via shipping to he US , testing and repairing and return shipping to the UK (with no customs costs) just adds to receiving an imaculate item back.

From this moment, I initiated the repair process. Quin stayed in contact throughout. My repair was completed just a couple of days after the remote arrived, and shipped for return the next day. I received the repaired remote, which looked like new. Also enclosed was a detailed inspection and repair report that confirms a very thorough evaluation, cleaning, and repair. After spending less that a week without my remote, instead using the drawer full of independent remotes, I was so happy to get my hand wrapped around my Harmony remote! This was a professional service experience far better than most.

But after 10 years of loyal service, when the screen started to finally give out, I knew it was time to send it in. First generation model, so it required the full logic board replacement. The instructions on the website were helpful and thorough to identify the appropriate repair that I needed. From Colorado to New York and back, 6 days round trip and I am blown away all over again with this remote. I am even more blown away by the quality of service and attention to detail by Quin. Every email was responded to in minutes, not hours. I received notice from him that he received my remote before USPS even notified me of the delivery. My remote was in his hands for less than 24 hours and I already had a return tracking number. Remote was packed with care and the detailed report that accompanied it was thorough and professional. The repair is perfect and the upgraded casing components have my remote looking better than it has in a long time. The touch, feel, and response are like it's new out of the box again! Thank you!
Marc T. 2 years ago - I've ordered a Harmony One Replacement LCD with the installation kit on 25th of December and it was shipped the next day and delivered to Germany on 8th of January. Today I've installed the LCD and I can say I'm very happy. The videos are very detailed and the kit had everthing needed to get the new module to work.
So thank you very much and it's great that you offer parts for devices that the manufacturer is not willing to repair.

I am not as skilled as Quin in terms of soldering but with patience, care and mostly with following the tutorial I could have the screen replaced and it works like a charm.
Not mentioning that the replacement kit has been delivered super quickly given that I live in France and despite the covid19 times...

JM-Mondon 3 years ago - One of my Harmony One units, an ancient model acquired in 2009, had the swollen battery problem in 2012. Logitech replaced it with a new unit and deactivated the 2009 unit. Last month I decided I wanted the 2009 unit made usable, so I asked Harmony Remote Repair for three things: 1. Swollen battery repair, 2. replace logic unit with a "modern" logic unit, and 3. reactivate the unit. Quin responded that #2 would also cover #1 and #3 and reduced the price accordingly. Then they completed the work almost immediately. I've used Harmony Remote Repair before, and in my opinion they are amazing. Simply amazing! If your Harmony needs work, this is the place.

Found Quin on line, read reviews and after visiting him by emails sent it to him Monday 2pm west coast. He was about to leave for a 4 day out of service time but did the repairs and services and mailed out before he left, So I had it in my hands the following Monday. Reached out to the folks at Harmony Remote Repair and they walked me through all the steps to verify the touchscreen was broken / couldn't be repaired by me prior to shipping it out to them. Unfortunately it was broken so I shipped my remote out to Quin and in a little more than a week I had it back working as good as new for about half of what I expected to pay. Communication was excellent the whole time and Harmony Remote Repair definitely exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend reaching out to them if you have a problem with your remote.

After looking around I found Harmony Remote Repair, ordered a replacement LCD kit and even a crappy solderer like myself was able to get it to work (albeit on the second try). Danyel 3 years ago - Broke the front panel on my 12 year old Harmony One (bought it on close out when Circuit City went bankrupt) and really needed advice on how to disassemble it. Ran across their YouTube videos, saw the mistake I made that damaged the ribbon cable to the front (seriously, who designed it like that??) and luckily they had a 'Grade B' front panel in stock. Had it withing four days of ordering it, and with the aforementioned video, fixed it in under 10 minutes - saving me over $300!! Great response, (got an email confirming my order the next morning) and very happy with them!

Mac Steiger 3 years ago - First off – My Harmony One is over 10 years old and has survived raising 2 babies and 2 dogs. It has been dropped, kicked, bitten, slobber and spilled on – and who knows what else. My son finally killed the screen by accidentally stepping on it the other day.
Here is my Ordering and Install Story:
I ordered a replacement Harmony One LCD Kit on Feb 12 at 9pm.
I got a Shipping confirmation on Feb 13th at 8:20am.
Part arrived via USPS on Feb 15th.
I started and finished the repair process on Feb 17th.
The 3 repair videos were very easy to follow along with. I actually watched them prior to ordering so that I would know what I was getting into.
The actual repair collectively took me around 1 hour, which included me cleaning the button pads (which was BADLY needed). Believe it or not, cleaning the buttons was the longest part.
I am not a good at soldering, so it took me a few times to get all the leads set. Many times I kept getting a white screen during testing – sometimes got a white screen and then the power button would blink 7 times. Each pass I made to re-solder I got better at it. When in doubt, be liberal with the flux. When I finally got it right, the screen booted up and it looked great.
One thing to note, there are tiny riser pads attached to the screw holes. Some of mine were dried, cracked and popped off, so 2 of my screws behind the rubber pad are loose, but the remote stays clicked together.

Nick 3 years ago - First off – My Harmony One is over 10 years old and has survived raising 2 babies and 2 dogs. It has been dropped, kicked, bitten, slobber and spilled on – and who knows what else. My son finally killed the screen by accidentally stepping on it the other day.
Here is my Ordering and Install Story:
I ordered a replacement Harmony One LCD Kit on Feb 12 at 9pm.
I got a Shipping confirmation on Feb 13th at 8:20am.
Part arrived via USPS on Feb 15th.
I started and finished the repair process on Feb 17th.
The 3 repair videos were very easy to follow along with. I actually watched them prior to ordering so that I would know what I was getting into.
The actual repair collectively took me around 1 hour, which included me cleaning the button pads (which was BADLY needed). Believe it or not, cleaning the buttons was the longest part.
I am not a good at soldering, so it took me a few times to get all the leads set. Troy 3 years ago - I’m so happy I found this page. My harmony one fell on the floor and the LCD screen went blank. The remote still worked but I couldn’t see the screen. I had put it in a drawer until I could figure out what I’ll do with it. It sat for over a year and I was about to throw it out. I had no warranty and no way to fix it until I came across this page. Sent them the remote and I got it back quickly and works like new. Screen is nice and crisp, a lot sharper than before. It feels great to have my remote back. I was going back and fourth with 3 different remotes operating my home theater and devices. I was constantly buying batteries for the remotes. It was a pain, getting my harmony one fixed from these guys was a lucky find. Highly recommend.
Javier 3 years ago - I've referred to this site before, when I needed to get my Harmony One's swollen battery out. I had a warranty claim with Logitech, but still wanted to use my old One, as I'd grown pretty attached. Since I got a new device via the warranty replacement, Logitech blacklisted my One from their database, so I couldn't update it anymore. After trying to find a solution myself, I was willing to send it to Harmony Remote Repair from Canada for a new serial number to be flashed. After emailing, Quin responded with a proposed solution that worked, without me even having to mail/pay anything! Unselfish business practice, and I'll be sure to be telling anyone about the great service!
Ryan 3 years ago - I love my HarmonyOne remote. When the screen first began to fail, it was readable. When the screen suffered another mishap, and wouldn't display at all, I was more broken up than it was! After researching online, I decided to repair it with the replacement LCD from harmonyremoterepair.com. The information in the videos was EXCELLENT. I know my skills (which aren't strong in soldering), but I felt educated enough - and knowing the DIY gone wrong was available didn't hurt. Unfortunately, I made a minor mistake removing the old LCD (don't rush, even a little bit). Quinn came to the rescue - and did so in stellar fashion. Communications were quick and concise. When my remote needed an extra firmware step that could have inconvenienced me later, Quinn pointed out what options we had and didn't proceed until I was able to help make the best decision for us. That kind of support is rare - AWESOME job, Quinn. We have another HarmonyOne, if it were to fail we will be back.

Mike Wilde 4 years ago - I found this site when I was looking for a repair for my harmony one remote and I am so happy I did. I sent my remote in for repair and I was treated extremely well. Quin kept me informed as to what was wrong and what needed to be repaired and the cost of the repair. It was up to me to decide whether or not to have the work done. I had had my remote for a number of years and I was spoiled by having only one remote that would operate all the devices on my TV. The repair was less costly than buying a new one and that I did not want to do. I told Quin to fix whatever was wrong and the cost was very reasonable. I received my remote back in the mail with less than a week from sending it in and I tried it and everything worked just as before. Quin was able to get into my harmony remote and reset everything back to the original set up which was done years ago. I can't thank Quin enough. Carl 4 years ago - Emailed Quin about my Harmony One physical buttons not working. He gave me a few things to try but unfortunately they did not work for me. so off it goes to him for repair. WOW he emailed me as soon as he got and sad he was able to repair it right away and had it one its way back the same day. when i received it it was very well packed and contained a comprehensive report on his receiving inspection and all repairs and test ran on it. its been a long time since I've had to deal with someone that has had this good of customer service. if there were more stars i wouldn't hesitate to give them.

I mailed my Harmony 1 remote on Tuesday and it was in my mailbox the following Monday. it had a swollen battery I couldn't get out, so dismantling the whole thing was required. He cleaned up the remote inside and out, checked that the buttons and screen were working properly. It looks positively brand new even though it's over 6 years old! I couldn't ask for better service. And the whole bill was $38, including his shipping costs. He's a true model for excellence in service. Very professional. And excellent written summary of work done was also supplied.

Quit even repaired some buttons that I didn't know were failing. Anyone concerned about the smaller LCD should not worry. It is barely noticeable and I probably would not have noticed at all if I didn't know ahead of time. The tilt sensor upgrade is a noticeable improvement to the factory design. It's now working as if it's new again. I see why he comes highly recommended. If you need a repair, don't hesitate. Well worth the money.
Rodney 5 years ago - Not only did Quinn replace the screen at the reasonable price quoted, he also replaced some hard buttons and the complete front panel. On top of that he sent me a stylus to use instead of putting so much finger pressure on the screen. I couldn’t believe the long report he sent which indicated how much we abuse this expensive equipment. I just wish I could get such great service from everyone I deal with. I hope I don’t need to use them again, but will not hesitate to do so if I have to.

I am pleased with this service and would recommend. It may be a bit expensive but it's cheaper then buying a total replacement remote and it's just as good as new.

This was after more than a few emails back and forth...and the patience and professionalism he exhibited was a breath of fresh air in today's service/technician atmosphere. Needless to say, my "like new" H1) the best universal remote ever made, IMO) functions as well or better than the one I bought many years ago. I sent my Harmony One in for a button and tilt sensor replacement. In addition and at no charge Quin replaced the button dome under the Off button cap and also replaced an LED that was burnt out. The repair makes it good as new, and on top of fixing the screen, which is what the requested repair was, the rest of the remote was inspected and the button pad was cleaned. I sent my H1 in for a LCD replacement. The remote was shipped to you on Monday. I have it back in my hands today, Friday. The condition of my H1 is better than when I sent it in. You cannot tell that the case has been opened. All functionality is good. I popped in the battery and it is good to go! Surgeons do not pay this much attention to detail! Kudos!

I enquired about purchasing a refurbished replacement and Quin suggested to me to first check my screen's ribbon cable connection the to logic board. With his great online instructions for disassembly, I was able to fix it myself in less than 30 minutes. Talk about integrity and great service! I won't forget this in the future. Thanks Quin!!

After many years of terrific service I dropped my Harmony One one too many times. It was a version 1, so Quin could only use an original screen. He replaced the tilt sensor as well AND replaced a well-worn case. The price was more than fair. And I had it back in a week, including this INCREDIBLY detailed report on what was done. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER and I promised Quin lunch the next time I'm in his area or if he visits Arizona. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT ANYONE ELSE REPAIRING YOUR HARMONY REMOTE!

The service was nothing short of amazing with rapid turnaround and very fair prices. I am not easily impressed but this service is outstanding from emailing receipt of the units I sent in, the required repairs and rapid turnaround. The units were packed extremely well to avoid damage in transit. Quin is obviously very good at what he does and very conscientious. Great folks to do business with - I highly recommend them.
Mike Bush, LA 5 years ago - I was in search of a battery door for a Home Companion remote and for some reason the Harmony website doesn't sell battery doors for this remote (but they do for others). I searched Google and found this company and sent an email asking for help. After a few very quick back-and-forth emails, Quin shipped me a new remote for a VERY reasonable price. Michael Border 5 years ago - After my 2nd Harmony One remote stopped working, I had to purchase one that had been intended for sale in Europe. It came with a funky looking adapter for United States electrical sockets. It worked fine for about 18 months, and then just stopped working. I could not find another Harmony One available anywhere because Logitech discontinued it. I then bought a Harmony Touch and used it for about one week. I had to pack it back in its' box and put it away because it sucked. I went back to the plethora of remotes to control my TV/BluRay/Cable Box/Home Theater/AppleTV for another 24 months. Then I found Harmony Remote Repair!
I made use of the troubleshooting guides that Quin has on his website, and it seemed that I needed a Logic Board replacement. I emailed Quin, and received prompt replies to my questions. I placed the order for the replacement Logic Board, and sent it off to him. Quin kept in communication with me throughout the time he had the remote. He notified me of receiving it, his confirmation of the problems he uncovered, the progress of the repair work, and notification of the return shipment! I was not sure if the remotes were worth fixing and Quin replied to my inquiry with his opinion that it was not worth the cost. I was glad he had the same opinion that I had. Chris 5 years ago - My Harmony One remote sat at my right hand for many years, programed for all my components for all TV and audio functions. I had to take it apart to replace a swollen battery, and caused some damage to the case and other parts. It finally would not hold a battery charge.

Elbert 5 years ago - I dropped my 900 remote and the LCD was likely damaged. Quinn communicated with me and we went through the issues and likely repair. Being from Canada, there is always an additional wrinkle. I sent it in, and it took a week to get to Quinn, he emailed me and he repaired it and sent it back that next day. I got it a week later (the travails of Canada Post) and everything works great. He fixed as required, made sure the programming was intact and explained every step.

He not only changed the pad but changed the upper button pad at no cost, Thanks The tilt was not working so he readjusted and is working fine, again no charge for this adjustment. Scott Fitzpatrick 5 years ago - Quin is the Cats Ass I have never Dealt with a business the communicated so well, when I sent the remote to him, he sent me an email back letting me know he received it, he also emailed me when it was back in the mail, I sent it to him on a Friday and got it back today the following Thursday, it looks like a brand new remote, he cleaned everything, I also got a detailed report on its Pre Repair Condition, before repairing it, notes on the repair, and a detailed test report, I would recommend Quinn above anybody Else.

Quin was quick to respond with what I needed and gave me plenty of tips. After receiving my package 3 days after ordering, I installed it and had another question. I contacted Quin and although it wasn’t their problem, I was given advice on how to get it working. Now I have a working harmony remote, all thanks to Quin and the harmony remote repair company.

Shane 5 years ago - I use my Harmony 890 to control my HTPC (with EventGhost) to run several media applications on my main TV. I was able to configure the H890 and its RF extender to control everything I needed. But when yet another button on the H890 wore out (making at least 6 not working) I started looking for a replacement, but read a number of bad reviews for some of the newer remotes (not to mention the high cost).
Thankfully I came across the Harmony Remote Repair, and sent my remote off right away. The communication from Quin was excellent. He repaired it with lightning speed and I received it back in no time. Quin provided a detailed report and a 60-day warranty on the repairs.
My repaired H890 is as good as new and back controlling my HTPC. His price was extremely reasonable and a fraction of the expense for a new remote, plus saving me all the time it would have taken to configure a new remote (which might not have worked as well as the H890 anyway). I can't recommend Harmony Remote Repair and Quin highly enough.

My Harmony Ultimate Remote suddenly became unresponsive and wound not sync with the hub. I tried everything I could find on the Logitech site and other user groups. I assumed it was now a brick. Fortunately I found harmonyremoterepair.com
I used the website to submit my issue. Quin responded in minutes with a list of suggestions to try. After I had exhausted all his suggestions, we agreed that I should send it in for him to have a look. As soon as the remote arrived Quin let me know it had arrived. within hours he had diagnosed that it would need a circuit board replacement. I ordered the repair online, including the return shipping to Canada. Within a day the remote had been repaired, tested and was on its way back via USPS. The customs declaration was filled out as a return for repair, so Canada Post delivered to my house with no duties or processing fees.
I have just reconfigured the remote and tested it with my system. It works just like new.
Perfect service and communication. Highly recommended.
Hopefully I won't need to repair my remote again, but if I do, I will use harmonyremoterepair.com.

He kept in touch every step of the way with emails containing his preliminary assessment of the issues and the repairs needing to be done (including cost), a report of what he actually found, and a summary of the repairs he made. Turn around time was excellent; he received my unit on Saturday and had my repaired unit in the mail on the following Monday. I appreciate his including a hardcopy of everything assessed and repaired with the returned unit. To top it off, I felt his pricing of my repairs was totally fair and reasonable. I'm a happy camper who would not hesitate to recommend Quin to anyone else looking for a repair of their Harmony One remote.
Lew Daisv 5 years ago - I have to start by saying that I never leave reviews. This, obviously, is an exception.
Quin has gone way beyond what I expected. My first experience was when he repaired my Harmony One. It took the Post Office longer to deliver it than it did for Quin to make the necessary repairs, fully test it, write the report, and get it back in the mail to me. He even took the time to adjust the tilt sensor for no extra charge. When I opened the box, the controller looked brand new and, I can report, has been preforming flawlessly (you don't appreciate a well functioning Harmony until you have to go back the handing 5 different remotes during the course of the evening). His service included comprehensive test report detailing what work he performed. I have to say that I was very pleased with the frequency and comprehensiveness of his communications.
We exchanged several follow-on eMails about my Harmony 880. It needed so many buttons that it was cost prohibitive to do button repair. I didn't hold much hope. Quin recommended a logic board replacement as a cost effective alternative. Yup, I'd have to restore the settings on it (which he offered to do at no extra cost) for MUCH less than the individual button repair. Again, he had the unit repaired and back in the mail in less time than it took for the USPS to deliver it. What really impressed was that he performed several upgrades that I won't go into at no additional charge.
Would I recommend him? Echoing others here, Absolutely! Craftsmen and small business owners that are proud of their work and value their customers are rare. Quin and harmonyrepair.com are on my short list of businesses that I will always recommend to friends.
P L 5 years ago - I highly recommend Quin for all your Harmony remote parts and repairs. He is an outstanding, dedicated individual who will exceed your expectations. His prices are fair and his attention to detail in testing/repairing remotes is commendable. His email responses are fast and concise and repair turnaround time is very quick. Prior to doing requested repairs Quin performs diagnostic diagnostic tests on all remotes received and advises of any issues needing attention. In my case, I requested he replace button pads and backplate, but his testing also identified a bad tilt sensor, two number buttons needing attention and a small internal stress crack. These issues were also repaired to prevent possible future problems. Much to my surprise when Quin returned my remote he included a detailed description of all testing performed and a running commentary of all issues observed/completed in dealing with my H1. It is extremely rare in this day and age that you find an individual like Quin who routinely goes the extra mile to ensure outstanding customer service. Thanks to Quin I now have a Harmony One that looks and functions like a brand new remote right out of the box!

Having read about, and watched youtube videos about, do-it-yourself fixes, I dreaded trying to fix it myself. And then the info about DIY repairs here seemed so right-on that I decided to send it in. I was totally amazed by every aspect of the service: incredible responsiveness, crystal clear communication, attention to detail, customer-first attitude. Talk about exceeding expectations, Quinn did that by more a mile! I was impressed by our email exchanges (15 emails over two days, the day it was received and the next day, when it was sent back). But the meticulous itemization of everything that was done that was enclosed when the remote was returned in perfect condition really blew my mind!

I had given up my Harmony 900, with all the extras I have to control all my equipment hidden away in our living room, since it only showed the white screen, and no reaction whatsoever. Then just before getting rid of the 900 and all IRs etc, I found this website. I tried the "bending", but to no avail. Then last resort was the Upgrade Firmware via Safe Mode - and to my big surprise, the screen started to show things again, and eventually, IT REPAIRED IT! So THANKS - Save me time and money! (PS - be patient during the Firmware upgrade, the screen went on and off and white etc many times, but eventually it came back to the good, old self.)

So happy and impressed with the support from Quin. I had been unsure about ordering the part and whether or not I would be able to do the repair (zero soldering experience), but thanks to the thoroughness of the videos and the kit that was supplied with the replacement LCD I was able to get things to work just fine. Had some initial trouble and thought I had pooched it, but after rewatching the videos and closer examination of my work I realized what "bridging the solder" meant, and that I had two leads that were bridged. Cleaned off that little bit of solder, touched the battery to the terminals again, and voila, working Harmony One. Thank you very much Quin. I told my son if he drops the remote again, he's paying for the next part ;)

Must say i was very very impressed with the level of technical knowledge and service displayed, very professional. I have a Harmony one remote with a cracked LCD that was used up after a few years. After a few emails back and forth with Quin i sent my remote in and it came back like it was brand spanking new.
Very affordable fast repair the whole thing took max about a week. Happy to know there are people like Quin out there who take pride in what they do and do it right. Highly recommended.

It is really exceptional in todays' world for a terrific experience to know that there are still people who take pride in the work and service they perform. It's sad to make that statement but after having my remote repaired by Quin, which was done in an efficient, business and professional manner, I came away feeling like I just won the lottery! When I had my remote returned , I thought it had to be a new one by mistake. It certainly didn't look like the unit I sent to HRR. I have a Harmony 900 remote that has served us well for a number of years. Recently it started acting up so that it was extremely difficult to “wake-up” without vigorously shaking the remote. I assumed that given its age I would need to buy a replacement. A quick search brought me to harmonyremoterepair.com. After reading many of the other satisfied customer reviews and finding the necessary replacement part on the HRR parts’ page I sent my remote in for repair. Quin at HRR contacted me to let me know when he received the remote and then contacted me when the repairs were completed and it was being shipped back. When the remote was returned, Quin included a very detailed inspection and repair report that noted several other small issues he addressed at no charge to me. My experience with HRR and Quin were excellent as the repairs were done professionally, timely and at a reasonable price. A much better alternative to purchasing a new remote!

Probably should have left this praise a long time ago!. When my kids broke "my precious" Harmony One (no not Lord of the Rings), besides almost crying, I search on the WEB for a replacement display and replacement unit and found HRR. The display, kit and videos to install it were perfect. The display is far better then the original. Later on, I fixed a few more for some friends and still find some of these that are dead and resurrect them. When I had some specific questions on disabled and earlier motherboard versions, I got the answers and solved the problem. Excellent customer service does not begin to explain what HRR offers! So.......if you have a Harmony One that needs some TLC and you refuse to part with with it, then don't. Have HRR fix it.

Very nice step-by-step instructional videos on the Harmony One LCD replacement. I found one for $1 at a garage sale with (unknown at the time) a cracked LCD. A few days and a few $$ later, I borrowed temperature-controlled soldering iron from a coworker and managed to complete this repair in an hour or so.

This company is great! They have repaired my Harmony one twice. Once for a new screen and again because I keep dropping it on the floor and broke the front cover. I'm disabled and Quinn went out of his way to make sure the remote no only worked like new but when I got it back it had new buttons and looked like new. Best customer service I ever experienced.
Michael Monfort 6 years ago- I've had a harmony 1100 for at least a few years. I decided to kneel on it and destroy the screen. After a quick search, I found this site. I ordered a new screen, installed it, only to find out there was more than that damaged. I sent Quinn the remote. He quickly replaced screen in another refurbished remote and sent it back. The only headache I had was trying to pair the remote to my rf module. I was emailing back and forth with Quinn. He offered all the help and suggestions that he could. He was more than patient with my questions. I finally got it all up and running. I love electronics, but we go together like oil and water. By far some of the best customer service I have ever encountered!

Best customer service! I have a Harmony 1100 which is now discontinued. Quin emailed me when the order was received, when my remote arrived to him and when it was shipped back to me with tracking # and fixed the remote in less than 24 hours! My remote arrived, back to me, with a detailed report of the repair and it works perfectly! Logitech said I needed a new remote which would cost about $400.00 but never responded (after multiple calls and emails) on which one would be comparable to the 1100 I have. I would recommend this company/service to anyone and everyone with no hesitation! Thank you!

Fabulous service. Having diagnosed and offered troubleshooting advice on the Logitech Community Forum, and being recommended by the AVS Forum, I followed the T/S and advice from Quin. It was spot on. I then discovered that, for about the same price as a new m-board, I could get one of his fine refurb units. Discussed and ordered on Sun/Mon, mailed on Tuesday, received in today's mail as advertised. Reprogrammed immediately with my old Harmony One settings, Bingo!! Worked perfectly with my old battery and charger. Couldn't be happier. !!!!!! Kudos, Quin. !!!! :-))

Quin did such a fantastic job repairing my remote. The backlight on my 880 was dead and I thought I would have to live without it. Luckily I came across this website. Quin explained every step to be taken in detail. So I sent off my remote. Within 30 minutes of its arrival to Quin, he was already working on it! He gave me updates throughout his repair process and notified me when it was complete. He had it shipped out the NEXT DAY! AMAZING! The remote is now like new and I couldn't be happier. I'd given up on my Harmony One - tilt sensor and a swollen battery that wouldn't hold a charge. Found about HRR on a forum. These reviews read like snake oil but i thought there was nothing to lose using Paypal.
Well, it's true. Excellent and quick (immediate) service, informed by friendly email every step of the way. I'm very impressed and appreciative. And very glad to have my One back, the Ultimate One really isn't very good.

Quin, I only regret not knowing about your service before attempting to find a replacement for my worn out Harmony remotes on the usual websites. The reports that are returned with each remote with the initial as-is and after repair conditions are so comprehensive, they in itself are worth the cost of repair. My Harmony One and 900 are now virtually in the same condition as when purchased new - no exaggeration; so shiny and clean. Just amazing. I could not be more pleased. Every button works perfectly. And I had forgotten how great it was to have a working tilt sensor. I use the 900 in a dark home theater environment so this feature was especially welcomed again. And the cost is very, very reasonable. And finally, email communications was prompt, clear and friendly. Just a pleasure doing business with Quin.

Over the years, I have purchased many, many Harmony remotes from Harmony Remote Repair. I can't remember all but my guess is 6-8 Harmony 1100's, 5 Harmony1's (and I just placed the 6th H1 last night) and a few others. I think a couple 700's a 650 or two.
Why so many? No, I do not resell. I get paid back exactly what I paid HRR. I live in a senior citizen community. As age creeps up, it gets harder to operate all the different remotes that stare at us. I let my neighbors know that one remote is easier than 3, 4 or 5. I end up ordering a remote from Quin (HRR owner). Quin gets it right out and I have it in a few days. My hobby is my TV/surround system. I know how to program the remotes and love doing it for my neighbors hoping to make their lives a little easier.
Of all the remotes that I have ordered from HRR, all came in almost new condition. There has been only one remote that was ever sent back and that was NOT HRR's fault. My neighbor's wife decided to clean his 1100 with some type of harsh liquid cleaning juice. She saturated the remote to make sure all the bugs were dead. She also killed the 1100. But HRR was able to put it back together and returned looking beautiful.
I mentioned that I just ordered the 6th H1 from HRR last night. Yesterday, I received a panic call from my neighbor (Rosie) letting me know her dog, Bridgett, ate her H1 and she needed another. As I was ordering, Rosie called again and said, "I can't find the battery". I had to include a new battery in the order.
Of all the remotes that I have ordered from HRR over the years, NOT ONE has had a problem or returned (except my neighbor's cleaning frenzy. And all the remotes I have received looked like they came right out of the “new” box.
Could I have ordered any of the remotes cheaper on eBay, possibly but with HRR, I know who the owner is from our hundreds of e-mails over the years. His caring that I get a perfect working remote, his detail in making sure all is good, his quick e-mail response to answer my e-mails and his professionalism. I have someone I trust. Why would I go anywhere else to purchase or repair any of the remotes that I now feel responsible for.

Quin did great work on my remote. I had a cracked screen and he was able to determine that it was a 2nd gen model. After sending it off to him, he was able to replace the screen, but found several other small problems. He contacted me by email with his diagnosis and I authorized the additional work for a nominal fee. He even threw in some work for free and replaced my cover piece. Great work, great price, quick turn around!!!

Quin is a quality vendor option. Upon receipt of my remote, his quick diagnostics proved my remote was working properly. My keys in question were miss-mapped unknowingly. A refund was quickly issued to my account And my remote was on it’s way back to me in 2 days. Very honest, very impressed. Will use them again if I have needed repairs they handle.

I recently sent my Harmony One remote to Quin at Harmony Remote Repair to have the original tilt sensor replaced. The communication was excellent, exceeded only by the exemplary and very quick service. I had expected to be without my remote for at least a week or two, but Quin repaired and returned it within several days (and this was even over the holidays). The next time my remote needs any service whatsoever, it is going straight back to Harmony Remote Repair.

Harmony Remote Repair was professional, stayed in constant contact with updates and questions, fixed three (yes three) 890's all with bad screens, buttons and motion sensors. I am very pleased with the service on my H1 remote. Quin was highly pro-active and kept me informed at every step. Quin had my remote turned around and back in the mail the same day he received it. The new LCD screen is fractionally smaller than the old one but it makes no difference to the usability of the remote - it's barely noticeable unless you know to look for it. Thank you Quin! I wanted to advise anyone considering having their Harmony remote repaired by Quinn to rest assured it will be repaired properly and quickly! Rarely do I come across a business person who is so committed to getting things done right as well as communicating with the customer. From the start of the process to the end of the process, Q was fantastic. Clear communications of what I needed to do, when it would be done and even some follow up emails to see if I wanted to fix a few other items that were not working well(tilt sensor). After the repair, I received my remote properly bubble wrapped with a full write up on what they did and how my remote performed. Put in my battery and my previous programming was still there! My 2nd remote sent in for repair. Quinn is a true professional providing a comprehensive inspection pre and post repair. Actually 2 pages! if he finds anything else that needs attention or repair he will let you know, so rest assured that it will be in better than new condition when it is done. - I've had a harmony 1100 for at least a few years. I decided to kneel on it and destroy the screen. After a quick search, I found this site. I ordered a new screen, installed it, only to find out there was more than that damaged. I sent Quinn the remote. He quickly replaced screen in another refurbished remote and sent it back. The only headache I had was trying to pair the remote to my rf module. I was emailing back and forth with Quinn. He offered all the help and suggestions that he could. He was more than patient with my questions. I finally got it all up and running. I love electronics, but we go together like oil and water. By far some of the best customer service I have ever encountered!
- Fantastic! I had given up my Harmony 900, with all the extras I have to control all my equipment hidden away in our living room, since it only showed the white screen, and no reaction whatsoever. Then just before getting rid of the 900 and all IRs etc, I found this website. I tried the "bending", but to no avail. Then last resort was the Upgrade Firmware via Safe Mode - and to my big surprise, the screen started to show things again, and eventually, IT REPAIRED IT! So THANKS - Save me time and money! (PS - be patient during the Firmware upgrade, the screen went on and off and white etc many times, but eventually it came back to the good, old self.)

So happy and impressed with the support from Quin. I had been unsure about ordering the part and whether or not I would be able to do the repair (zero soldering experience), but thanks to the thoroughness of the videos and the kit that was supplied with the replacement LCD I was able to get things to work just fine. Had some initial trouble and thought I had pooched it, but after rewatching the videos and closer examination of my work I realized what "bridging the solder" meant, and that I had two leads that were bridged. Cleaned off that little bit of solder, touched the battery to the terminals again, and voila, working Harmony One. Thank you very much Quin. I told my son if he drops the remote again, he's paying for the next part ;)

Absolutely First Class. I was particularly impressed with the detailed report of my Harmony 900 condition and operation both before and after repair. And, even though this was a cross-border order from Canada, service was fast and efficient - just 10 days end to end. I highly recommend HRR and wish there were more firms like it

Customer service like I haven't had in years!!! The repair was done very quickly, my remote was returned with a replacement LCD and worked flawlessly. Quin was prompt to reply to e-mails and gave regular updates.

Must say i was very very impressed with the level of technical knowledge and service displayed, very professional. I have a Harmony one remote with a cracked LCD that was used up after a few years. After a few emails back and forth with Quin i sent my remote in and it came back like it was brand spanking new.
Very affordable fast repair the whole thing took max about a week. Happy to know there are people like Quin out there who take pride in what they do and do it right. Highly recommended.

It is really exceptional in todays' world for a terrific experience to know that there are still people who take pride in the work and service they perform. It's sad to make that statement but after having my remote repaired by Quin, which was done in an efficient, business and professional manner, I came away feeling like I just won the lottery! When I had my remote returned , I thought it had to be a new one by mistake. It certainly didn't look like the unit I sent to HRR. Expert technical knowledge and service with ridiculously affordable pricing cannot be beat! Many thanks Quin.

I'm in Australia and I've been bending Quin's ear with emails back and forth for about 3 hours (its now 3.30 am).
He is exceptional not only in his customer skills but his knowledge of this product has exceeded anything I could have expected.
Microsoft, Google, et al should send their customer service personal, techs, and marketing staff to Quin to show what and how customer service
should be provided.

I dropped off my Logitech Harmony one remote at address listed..met Quinn who was a gentleman.. my remote had a broken LCD screen..he had the screen fixed and went over any other issues possible with remote within an hour of dropping off remote and shipped to me by post office and received back following day(today 7/1/17) highly recommend.would definitely use again.

I have a Harmony 900 remote that has served us well for a number of years. Recently it started acting up so that it was extremely difficult to “wake-up” without vigorously shaking the remote. I assumed that given its age I would need to buy a replacement. A quick search brought me to harmonyremoterepair.com. After reading many of the other satisfied customer reviews and finding the necessary replacement part on the HRR parts’ page I sent my remote in for repair. Quin at HRR contacted me to let me know when he received the remote and then contacted me when the repairs were completed and it was being shipped back. When the remote was returned, Quin included a very detailed inspection and repair report that noted several other small issues he addressed at no charge to me. My experience with HRR and Quin were excellent as the repairs were done professionally, timely and at a reasonable price. A much better alternative to purchasing a new remote!

Probably should have left this praise a long time ago!. When my kids broke "my precious" Harmony One (no not Lord of the Rings), besides almost crying, I search on the WEB for a replacement display and replacement unit and found HRR. The display, kit and videos to install it were perfect. The display is far better then the original. Later on, I fixed a few more for some friends and still find some of these that are dead and resurrect them. When I had some specific questions on disabled and earlier motherboard versions, I got the answers and solved the problem. Excellent customer service does not begin to explain what HRR offers! So.......if you have a Harmony One that needs some TLC and you refuse to part with with it, then don't. Have HRR fix it.

Very nice step-by-step instructional videos on the Harmony One LCD replacement. I found one for $1 at a garage sale with (unknown at the time) a cracked LCD. A few days and a few $$ later, I borrowed temperature-controlled soldering iron from a coworker and managed to complete this repair in an hour or so.

This company is great! They have repaired my Harmony one twice. Once for a new screen and again because I keep dropping it on the floor and broke the front cover. I'm disabled and Quinn went out of his way to make sure the remote no only worked like new but when I got it back it had new buttons and looked like new. Best customer service I ever experienced.
