Harmony 1100 Button PCB
If one or more of your buttons on the Hard Button Pad have become difficult to use, or have stopped working altogether, then replacement of the Button Pad PCB is what you need. Generally, the reason for the entire pad to fail is a micro-tear in the ribbon cable that connects the pad to the main board. If only some of the buttons are not operating, it may be a partial tear or one or more of the tactile button domes have become defective. Although installation is not difficult, the part is very delicate and a micro-tear can easily develop. Use caution when doing this repair and never bend the cable.
